How it runs

Site survey + substrate check

Free site visit for surveys. 2m straightedge and laser-level used; substrate flatness measured against material requirement.

Substrate prep

Levelling if required, waterproof membrane for wet areas, expansion-joint planning for large floors.

Laying

Crew-led laying with material-appropriate adhesive (C2TE for large-format, polymer-modified for standard, epoxy-set for premium marble).

Grouting

Epoxy or polymer-cement grouting based on application zone. Colour-matched to material base.

Post-install polish

Crystallisation polishing for marble. Sealer reapplication for granite. Joint cleaning across the project.

Snag clearance

Final walkthrough with site engineer. Any laying defect rectified before handover.

Installation Service

Three in-house crews on payroll, working under a fixed supervisor each. The rate you see in our quote includes the same crew start-to-finish on your site, no rotating-strangers situation where the people who started don’t recognise the people who finished.

Installation scope by material

Installation rates are quoted per project and depend on material, format, substrate condition, site access and waterproofing requirements. Indicative complexity ladder (lowest to highest cost-per-sqft):

Quote includes normal site conditions and accessible floor level. Sites with stair-only access, restricted parking for material delivery, or active occupants get a site-condition surcharge clarified before booking. Submit a BoQ for delivered-and-installed quotation.

Substrate readiness is on you

We will not install over a substrate that fails our flatness check. For large-format porcelain (1200×2400 and above), substrate must be within ±3mm per running metre. For standard 600×600 tile, ±5mm/m is acceptable.

If your substrate fails, we can levelling-prep it as a line-item before installation, self-levelling compound for minor deviations, screed re-laying for severe ones. Both quoted by area.

Waterproofing for wet areas

Bathroom floor, balcony, terrace, kitchen wash zone, all require waterproofing membrane before tile. We use polymer-modified cementitious membrane standard, epoxy-coal-tar for severe-wet (basement, water-tank floor). Waterproofing is quoted as a separate line-item additional to installation.

Workmanship warranty, available as an additional service

A two-year workmanship warranty can be added to any installation project we take on. Two years from completion date, covering:

  • Loose tiles or lifted edges from adhesive failure.
  • Grout cracking or lifting from poor mix or moisture entrapment.
  • Alignment defects discovered post-handover (joint misalignment, level deviation).
  • Sub-substrate issues from waterproofing failure on wet-area floors.

Does not cover:

  • Tile cracking from impact (drop damage, structural movement).
  • Stain damage from acidic spills on marble or limestone.
  • Settlement-related cracks from substrate movement.
  • Damage from third-party plumbing/electrical work after handover.

Claims are processed within 48 hours of site inspection. Standard remedy is replacement and re-laying of affected area at our cost.

Do you install material I bought elsewhere? +

Yes, but at higher rate and without material warranty. Installation-only rate runs 20-35% above our supply-and-install rate. We strongly recommend supply + install bundled, gives you one warranty contact, one accountability path.

What's the warranty? +

A two-year workmanship warranty is available as an additional service on installation projects. It covers loose tiles, lifted edges, grout cracking and alignment issues from completion date. Material warranty is separate and varies by category. We honour the warranty regardless of who manages your site at the time of claim.

Can you start a job within a week? +

Standard crew availability is 10-14 days from confirmed booking. Emergency crew (within 3-5 days) available for trade-account customers at +15% installation rate.
